Representatives from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute met with the head of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” representative office in Kyrgyzstan

On May 24, 2025, at the XXIV International Multilateral Exhibition and Conference “White City – Ashgabat”, a meeting took place between the leadership and representatives of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Dmitry Konstantinov, Director General of the Branch of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” in the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the meeting, Dmitry Konstantinov, Director General of Rosatom in Kyrgyzstan, presented information on the corporation's activities in training engineering specialists. He also noted Rosatom's active engagement in utilizing solar and wind energy.

Konstantinov announced the signing of an Agreement with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for an investment project to construct a 100 MW wind power plant in Balykchy, Issyk-Kul Region. He confirmed that construction work on the station has already begun. In light of this, Dmitry Konstantinov proposed cooperation in the field of solar and wind energy.

Discussions at the meeting also covered the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute’s efforts in specialist training and its scientific research on alternative energy sources. The guest also familiarized himself with the architectural and design projects prepared at the institute.

Following this, directions for bilateral cooperation were discussed.
