In the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, the peaceful and broadly cooperative foreign policy pursued under the leadership of our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ensures the steady growth of our country's prestige on the international stage. The active involvement of youth in this strategic direction and their worthy participation in global events is a clear manifestation of the new phase in our nation's development.
From this perspective, the Youth Forum held in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, from May 21 to 24, 2025, with the participation of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian countries, holds particular importance. The forum brought together regional and global young leaders, public figures, and leading experts in the field of education to discuss strengthening the role of youth in international relations and enhancing regional cooperation.
The participation of a delegation from Turkmenistan at this forum is yet another confirmation of the high level of trust placed in our country and its commitment to peace, good neighborliness, and mutually beneficial cooperation. Notably, the presence and active engagement of Yslam Altyýewiç Saryjaýew, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, as a young representative of our country, deserves special recognition.
Through his speech, proposals, and discussions at the forum, the young delegate clearly demonstrated that Turkmen youth possess a deep understanding of key global issues and are capable of taking an active role in international relations. This is a vivid testament to the successful implementation of the state’s youth policy.
The main goal of the youth policy pursued by our esteemed President is to raise a patriotic, broad-minded, highly educated generation capable of participating in international events. The involvement of Turkmen youth in international forums is clear evidence of the achievement of these lofty goals.
The participation of young people like Yslam Saryjaýew in high-level international forums and their representation of our country is a direct result of the effectiveness of work conducted with youth. It also shows that they are making a significant contribution to the political, social, and economic development of the nation. Such international events illustrate that the youth of Turkmenistan are not limited to domestic development alone, but also actively contribute to solving major global issues.
Participation in international forums abroad enhances the ability of Turkmen youth to engage in dialogue, build partnerships, and broaden their knowledge and experience. This, in turn, contributes to the solid foundation of the country’s future development.
In conclusion, the Youth Forum held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, not only provided a worthy representation of our country on the international stage but once again demonstrated that youth are acting as ambassadors of cooperation, friendship, development, and peace.
