Exhibition “The Precious Jewel of Our Homeland — Our Wonderful Capital”

On the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, the exhibition titled “The Precious Jewel of Our Homeland — Our Wonderful Capital” was solemnly opened on May 21, 2025, at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. The exhibition celebrates the beauty, development, and cultural heritage of our capital through the language of visual art.

On this day, under the guidance of Gyzylgul Annageldiyeva, Senior Lecturer of the “Architecture” Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, third-year students of the “Architectural Environment Design” group attended the exhibition as part of a field study.

This exhibition serves as a vivid reflection of the richness of national art, the power of creativity, and the magnificent image of our capital on its path of great progress.

The exhibition features a wide range of works by both established and emerging Turkmen artists dedicated to the city of Ashgabat. The architectural appearance of the capital, its beautiful streets, modern buildings, parks, and historical monuments are vividly portrayed through paintings, sculptures, and graphic art. These works capture not only the urban image but also the enthusiasm and peaceful spirit of the city’s residents.

The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan aims, through this exhibition, to offer a new artistic perspective on the development, historical, and cultural significance of the capital. Each piece highlights the successful implementation of urban development programs under the leadership of the esteemed President and illustrates Ashgabat’s transformation into a world-class metropolis.

The creative event “The Precious Jewel of Our Homeland — Our Wonderful Capital” is a proud expression of the people’s love for their capital and a clear symbol of the high level of Turkmen culture.
