The response among the student youth dedicated to the speech of the President of Turkmenistan

On April 26, 2022 in the conference hall of the Turkmen state Architecture and Construction institute was organized the meeting as a response among the student youth dedicated to the speech of the President which were held in digital format, the awarding to Ashgabat of the International Certificate “Trees in cities Challenge” from the Deputy Secretary-General of the UN, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe. The response among the student youth has been held in an organized way in our institute. The response on the Certificate by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe to the city of Ashgabat testifies to the international recognition of the efforts made by our country to protect the environment, respect for nature and preserve biodiversity. The nationwide tree planting campaign held in March of this year with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov clearly confirms Turkmenistan's commitment to fulfilling its international obligations in the field of ecology. For many years, Turkmenistan and the UN have been successfully implementing programs and projects aimed at achieving sustainable development on the planet through joint efforts. An important component of this long-term activity will be the transformation of urban and rural areas into forest zones. In accordance with the National Forest Program of Turkmenistan, it conducts systematic work in this area at the country level. On the initiative of the Hero Arkadag, more than 145 million tree seedlings were planted in our Motherland for many years, which led to the formation of special climatic zones. As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, we will continue to work on turning our country into a blooming garden. Planting trees in Turkmenistan has made it possible to improve the ecology of natural areas. Talking about this that the head of state once again noted that the Certificate issued by the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations is a genuine document that highly appreciates the work of our people in protecting nature. Participants of the meeting thanked our esteemed President for the efforts to protect the environment, respect for nature and preserve it.
