INTRODUCTORY EVENT AT SPECIALIZED SECONDARY SCHOOL NO. 116 WITH AN EMPHASIS ON EXACT SCIENCES AND ENGLISH IN ASHGABAT

Teachers of the Mechanical Engineering faculty conducted an introductory event at Specialized Secondary School No. 116 in Ashgabat, which focuses on the in-depth study of exact sciences and English. This event was organized as part of a joint work plan between the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Specialized Secondary School No. 116 in Ashgabat. During the event, discussions took place with the graduating students of the school. The meeting included a presentation on the activities of the institute, along with a comprehensive introduction to the institute's website, tdbgi.edu.tm. Participants learned about the institute's history, academic programs, faculties, departments, specializations, and the achievements and innovations made in recent years. Scientific and project works carried out at the institute were presented, and students were given several tips on the first steps in scientific research activities. Particular attention was paid to the specialties offered by the Mechanical Engineering faculty, as well as to the achievements of its students in subject and research competitions. An exchange of views on various topics took place with the school students. In turn, the students expressed interest in pursuing education at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and in learning about the enterprises where they could work in their chosen fields. During the event, participants were also introduced to the institute’s IT Scientific and Technical Center. It was noted that, if desired, students could enroll in short-term courses at the center. There, they can study foreign languages, computer literacy, and other subjects, receiving certificates upon completion. At the end of the meeting, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the esteemed President and Hero Arkadag for the broad opportunities created in the country for education and scientific development.
