READING BOOKS – A QUEST FOR TRUTH, JUSTICE, BEAUTY, AND HUMANITY

Under the leadership of the esteemed President, the preservation of national heritage has become an important issue, including the books of our Hero Arkadag, their impact on the culture and history of Turkmenistan. In particular, the work of Hero Arkadag, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan serves as a model for imitation, including his book “The Continuation of the Meaning of My Life”, in which he says:“If a month dedicated to reading books were declared in our country, it would be more appropriate”. Inspired by these profound words, "Book Marathon" was organized by the Council of Young Scholars of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The marathon was aimed at students and graduate students of higher educational institutions in Turkmenistan, with the goal of reading and discussing literary works.

Participants in the marathon read the book selected by the organizers – the work of the well-known Turkmen writer Gylych Kuliyev, "The Emir's Ambassador", and discussed the chapters read, answering test questions. 22 students from the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute actively participated in the "Book Marathon", and 8 of them were awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.
