Development of international cooperation
Most recently, at the end of September 2023, as part of the European Mobility Week, a training course was held at the Polytechnic University of Milan on the topic “Electric vehicles and batteries: the state of the art.” As part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Polytechnic University of Milan and the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, students and teachers of our institute took an active part in this event.
The course is organized in collaboration with “Ecoverso”, an association that promotes sustainable mobility in Italy through three main activities: the creation of hybrid and electric vehicle purchasing groups; teaching courses on efficient driving of hybrid vehicles and charging of electric vehicles; organization of amateur auto racing for the best fuel consumption between hybrid and electric vehicles.
The course was divided into theoretical and practical sessions, designed, with the help of experienced teachers and technicians, to provide an overview of the main opportunities offered today by electric vehicles, their impact on the Italian energy system, the life cycle of batteries, as well as the methods, times and costs of charging an electric vehicle.
Such courses help broaden their horizons and acquire new knowledge, particularly in the field of “green energy” within the framework of sustainable development, which will undoubtedly help students in their future professional activities.
We are confident that such events will only contribute to the fruitful development of inter-university relations in the field of science and education.
