Day of Education and Student Youth

By tradition, the country widely celebrates Education and Student Youth Day on September 1 of each year. The first bell rang in educational institutions, announcing the onset of the new 2023-2024 academic year.

In Turkmenistan, a transition is being made to a two-stage program of higher professional education in higher educational institutions of the country, that is, the gradual introduction into the work of domestic education of the practices of the Bologna education system, which has become widespread in the world. In general, all stages of the education system are being modernized according to world standards. This progress is due to fundamental reforms in the education system initiated by our Arkadag and continued by our esteemed President.

Based on the positive experience gained during the modernization and improvement of science and education systems under the leadership of the distinguished President, as well as the tasks set in the “National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052: Revival of a New Era of a Stable State,” large-scale reforms continue education. To this end, on the basis of scientific and technical developments, the latest technologies, and advanced innovations, ample opportunities are created for our youth to receive a high level of education and educate them in the spirit of patriotism and humanism.

We thank our highly esteemed President and our Arkadag for all the efforts they make to educate smart, capable young people along with improving the digital education system and its widespread implementation in our lives, and we also wish them good health and success in their hard work!
