Visit of Professor of Graz Technical University (TU Graz), Republic of Austria, David Pommerenke to Ashgabat

Last week, a representative of the Graz Technical University, Professor David Pommerenke visited Ashgabat. The program of the guest's stay included a visit to the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.

On May 31, 2023, a business meeting was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction with Professor David Pommerenke to discuss the possibilities of establishing bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, Professor David Pommerenke gave a detailed introduction to the Graz Technical University in front of a wide audience of TGASI. He spoke about the structure and education system of the university. He paid special attention to the research activities of the Institute of Electronics, which is located at the university, where our esteemed guest directly works and teaches. The next day, David Pommerenke gave a lecture to the students of our institute on the topic "Fundamentals of electromagnetic compatibility, section on electrostatic discharge" We are confident that such events will only contribute to the fruitful development of interuniversity relations in the field of science and education.
