Use of solar energy in Turkmenistan

An online-lecture entitled “Use of solar energy in Turkmenistan” was held between the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

The lecture was organized by the Department of “Industrial Automation” of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the institute. A. Penjiev, associate professor of the “Industrial automation” department, conducted the lecture. A. Penjiev told about the development of the electrical power industry in the country and the world, as well as the work carried out in this field. As it is known, Turkmenistan, which has great energy potential, has a positive experience in ensuring energy security in the world. A number of research activities on efficient use of energy resources and conducting scientific work in this field are also being carried out.

During the lecture, A.Penjiev made a comprehensive speech mainly about the opportunities and needs of solar energy, as well as some other information and scientific views. In addition, at the end of the lecture, the professors and students of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov exchanged questions and answers with A. Penjiev on the questions they were interested in. The beneficial side of this lecture was that the docent of our institute taught at the international level. It was also a proof of the fulfillment of the instructions given by the Esteemed President to include the country's higher educational institutions in the list of international higher educational institutions level by 2024.
