Another success

Through the efforts of our esteemed President, who continues the undertakings of our highly esteemed Arkadag, world-class work is being carried out in the direction of supporting mass physical culture and sports. A vivid confirmation of this is the modern sports schools and complexes built and put into operation in all regions of the country. In our Motherland, all conditions have been created for reaching the world level in big-time sports.

Thanks to such favorable conditions, our athletes perform effectively at international competitions. On March 18, 2023, a 1st year student of the Turkmen State Architecture and construction Institute Serdar Rakhimov won a gold medal at the European Youth Judo Cup, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Serdar celebrated his victory by competing with 27 athletes from 13 countries in the weight category up to 66 kilograms.

From March 25 to March 27 of this year, the international tournament "Sambo Founders Cup" was held in the Russian Federation. Meylis Niyazmengliev, a 2nd year student of our institute, participated in combat sambo competitions in the 64 kg weight category and won a bronze medal.
