At the “Development of Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan – 2026” International Exhibition and Conference, Begli Bayrammyradovich Atayev, Rector of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute, presented approaches to using local construction materials and training engineers in the context of the digital transformation of construction.

The address examined material property research, the use of verified data in Building Information Modelling (BIM), and the creation of digital twins of buildings and structures. Particular attention was given to the capabilities of the institute’s new campus, practical training for students, and strengthening links between education, research and industry. The Rector also proposed areas for collaboration with partners: joint material testing, the development of educational pilot projects, and the organisation of specialist training based on specific challenges faced by enterprises.
