In the epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, the high-purpose initiatives carried out in our beloved Motherland by our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, are aimed at strengthening the foundations of a bright future for the prosperity and happy life of our people.
The great initiatives launched by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, following the humanitarian principle “The state is for the people!”, are today being successfully continued on the basis of the enlightened doctrine of our esteemed President: “The Motherland is the Motherland only with its people! The State is the State only with its people!”
Each year of our magnificent era is filled with achievements and is being written as golden pages in the history of our new history.
At present, under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, the National Program “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052” is being successfully implemented. At the same time, the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the country and the National Rural Program, adopted in an updated form until 2028, are also being effectively carried out. These were described in detail during the extended meeting of the Government held on February 13 of this year under the leadership of our esteemed President. During the meeting, the results of the past year were summarized and the tasks for the current year—declared as the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”—were determined.
Upon the initiative of our Hero Arkadag, a competition is announced among the regions of the country, their etraps and cities with district status, as well as the etraps of the city of Ashgabat. In accordance with this initiative, efforts are encouraged to successfully implement the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028”, achieve strong results in social, economic, and cultural spheres in districts and cities, and establish modern production facilities equipped with advanced technologies.
According to the Decree signed by the esteemed President at the Government meeting, the Koneurgench etrap of Dashoguz velayat achieved the highest results across all indicators in 2025 and was declared the winning etrap of Turkmenistan. The municipality of Koneurgench etrap was awarded a monetary prize of 1 million US dollars.
It should be noted that the etrap’s economy, agriculture, construction, culture, education, and healthcare sectors are developing rapidly.
Modern schools, kindergartens, sports complexes, and residential buildings have been constructed here, and the pace of such development continues to increase.
The rich history of the ancient city of Koneurgench, located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, as well as its world-recognized archaeological and architectural heritage, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, testify to the truly remarkable historical legacy of Koneurgench in its time.
We, the professors and teachers, as well as the fortunate students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, study these valuable architectural monuments on a scientific basis and make use of them in our educational activities.
Taking this opportunity, we sincerely congratulate all the residents of the Koneurgench etrap of Dashoguz region on this joyful event and wish them even greater achievements in the future.
