THE VALUE OF ARCHITECTURE

The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, relying on the ample opportunities created by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to identify talented youth as a result of their care in the development of the education and science system, worthy contribution to the development of the state, having advanced technologies for attracting talented specialists to new creative scientific works, supporting the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of studying historical experience and new technologies in the field of architecture, design and construction, to direct talented students and young scientists to find solutions to current scientific, technical and technological problems, as well as to strengthen cooperation with prestigious higher educational institutions of foreign countries and exchange international experience, in a year called “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” in honor of the 300th anniversary of the great philosopher and poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi, as well as in honor of the Day of Science widely celebrated in the country, on June 4-5, 2024, organized an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Architecture - a man-made art in construction” in a hybrid format.

During the conference, effective discussions took place on further ways of developing architectural art and innovative directions. The conference consisted of four sections: “Architectural innovations, modern materials and technologies”, “Opportunities for the development of architectural education”, “Preservation of the original sample of historical and cultural heritage”, “Sustainable urban development: creating a comfortable urban environment through landscape architecture; strategic planning of urban landscapes and issues of sustainable urban development; ecology of the urban environment and energy supply”. Presentations from forum participants were included in a published collection of scientific articles.
