INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 'CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRY, ENERGY OF TURKMENISTAN — 2024' OPENED IN ASHGABAT
On November 3, 2024, the international exhibition titled 'Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan — 2024' was ceremoniously opened in Ashgabat. This exhibition showcases products from various Turkmen enterprises and private companies operating in related fields. Among the participants are prominent construction, industry, and energy companies from various countries, including several leading international firms. These companies are presenting their latest technologies, new projects, and products at the exhibition. They aim to explore opportunities for operations in Turkmenistan and establish new cooperation agreements. Additionally, Turkmen companies and government organizations are displaying their capabilities across construction, industry, energy, and other sectors. These enterprises are working with foreign partners to develop new technological projects and expand existing initiatives.
Alongside the international exhibition, which is dedicated to the Day of Construction and Industry Workers in Turkmenistan and celebrated in the Year of “Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy,” a conference titled 'Development of the Construction, Industry, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan' also began.
Currently, the construction and industrial sectors in our beloved country, along with all other branches of the national economy, are rapidly developing. The industry is successfully addressing the tasks of creating innovative production facilities, establishing large industrial enterprises, increasing the capacity for import-substituting products, enhancing export opportunities, and integrating the digital economy into the sector. Numerous exemplary new cities, towns, and modern villages have been built, embodying the creative spirit of our era within the architectural heritage passed down from our ancestors. These include educational institutions, sports facilities, residential buildings, parks, luxury hotels, wellness and medical centers, resorts, high-speed highways, large industrial complexes, and other structures and facilities, many of which are still under large-scale construction.
Today’s high-level international exhibition and scientific conference serve as interactive platforms for negotiations, exchanging experiences, and applying innovative developments and technologies in practice.
Representatives attending the international exhibition and conference can learn about the achievements of modern Turkmenistan, including the innovative technologies aimed at improving the living standards in urban and rural areas as part of the rapidly developing construction sector — one of the national economy’s most promising fields. Teachers and students from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute actively participated in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition and the conference. The international exhibition and conference will last until November 5.
