The winners of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Khojamyradov Jelilmuhammet and Durdyeva Jahan were awarded a valuable gift - Toyota Camry brand automobile from the Dear President. By the decree of the respected President of Turkmenistan, they were awarded the title "Honored Master of Sports of Turkmenistan".

At the Open Athletics Championship held in the Republic of Belarus, student of the institute Azat Vemmiev successfully performed in the relay 4x100, 400 m and was awarded two gold and one bronze medals and student Eziz Sakhetniyazov in the relay 4 x 100, 400 m won two gold and one silver medals.

At the Finnish K-1 kickboxing Open Championship in Helsinki in February 2018, the 2nd year student of the Pygy Sylabov Institute won the gold medal.

In September 2018, in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the XVIII Summer Asian Games in Jiu-Jitsu competitions in the 53 kg category, a first-year student of the institute Kemal Meredov won a bronze medal.

Khojamuradov Jelilmuhammet, a third-year student at the institute, participated in the Brazil Jiu-Jitsu competition in Makhachkala, Russia, August 14-18, 2019, taking first place in the 69 kg weight category and wins a gold medal. He also won a gold medal in the 69 kg weight category at KomBAT Jiu-Jitsu competitions at the World Championships held in the Republic of Korea from September 1 to 4, 2019.
