Students-athletes of the institute compete in 23 sports at the Universiade, which is held between the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan under the auspices of "Turkmenistan is a country of health and spirituality" and take prizes in it.

The institute has created a national team for volleyball "Binagar", which constantly plays in the major league of Turkmenistan. The Binagyar volleyball team of our institute twice won the transitional cup of the National Volleyball Center of Turkmenistan in 2015 and 2016. Also, according to the results of successful appearances in 2016, 2017 and 2018 in the major league, this team three times became the champion of Turkmenistan.

At the world table tennis championship held in 2016 in the capital of Malaysia, the city of Kuala Lumpur, a student of the Institute Ogulgennet Niyazgylydzhova won the gold medal.

At the Estonian kickboxing championship in Estonia in December 2016 in Tallinn, the Republic of Estonia, our student Pigi Silabov won the first place in the 57 kg weight category and received a gold medal.

Muhammet Annamyradov, a student of the institute, won the Turkmen Altyn Asyr contest for masterfully performing the official symbol of the V Asian Games and designing the architectural projects “Stop”, “Building over the Road” and won the Golden Chain of the President of Turkmenistan.

At the Asian Sambo Championship in Tashkent in the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017, our student Orazdurdyev Yagmyr in the 52 kg weight category was awarded a silver medal.

At the V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts Games, which were held in Ashgabat in 2017, our student Khojamyradov Jelilmuhammet successfully performed in the jiu-jitsu competition “Duo Classic”, bringing Turkmenistan the first gold medal. In addition, this student performed in the Ne-VAZ sambo competition in the 69 kg weight category, won the 2nd place and was awarded a silver medal. Institute student Jahan Durdyeva successfully performed in the Duo Show Jiu-Jitsu competition and won a gold medal, as well as a silver medal for her performance in the Duo Classic category jiu-jitsu competition. A student of the institute Meredov Begmyrat, having successfully performed in sambo competitions, won second place and received a silver medal. Pigy Silabov, a 2nd year student at the Institute, took part in the 57 kg kickboxing competition “Full Contact”, took second place and was awarded a silver medal.
