A GASOLINE PRODUCTION PLANT FROM NATURAL GAS IN AHAL

A plant that produces petrol from natural gas built in the Ahal province was included into the Guinness Book of Records on June 28, 2019 as “the world's first plant which produces petrol from natural gas". The largest company of fuel and energy branch has also been awarded with a Certificate for being “Ecologically clean” by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and with a Certificate and Award on “Innovative Technology” by the Swiss government and Federal Institute of Technology. The world's first large-scale plant for the production of synthetic automobile fuel from natural gas is intended to process 1 billion 785 million cubic meters of gas a year, and produce 600,000 tons of ECO-93 automobile fuel, as well as 12,000 tons of refined diesel fuel and 115,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas.
