On October 16, 2025, the faculty members of the “Automobile Construction” department of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute held a training session titled “Designing of Automobile Roads” at the Ashgabat Construction Secondary Professional School.
Currently, in Turkmenistan, road construction is undergoing significant development. The construction of new roads, improvement of the technical conditions and usage of existing roads, reconstruction of bridges and roads, and maintenance of roadbeds are being carried out. In road construction, safety, speed improvement, the construction of engineering structures, and their location are given top priority. These ongoing activities form the operational and maintenance complex of road construction works.
During the session, the participants were given an in-depth overview of road design, the main types of operational structures of automobile roads and bridge passages.
The participants, including both teachers and students, emphasized that such seminars play a crucial role in improving the educational level of construction engineers and in the implementation of new technologies in practical work.
